Choosing between gym membership tiers in Huber Heights, Ohio comes down to one real question: do you want classes and childcare, or just a solid floor to train on? That single difference is what separates our two tiers. Everything else about the decision follows from there.
Huber Heights is a little different from our other towns, too. We run two separate clubs here: Huber Heights Co-ed and Huber Heights Ladies. The Ladies club is a women-only space. Keep that in mind as you read, because the right tier for you depends partly on which club you plan to use and how you like to train.
The pricing, stated plainly
Let’s get the numbers out of the way first, because that’s probably why you’re here.
Signing up online is a $24 one-time fee. That’s 75% off the regular $90 signup, offered as a limited-time online deal. It covers getting started, not your monthly dues.
From there, you pick a monthly tier:
- Gold is $24.95 a month.
- Platinum is $29.95 a month.
The $24 signup and your monthly rate are two separate things. One is paid once to get going. The other is what you pay each month to stay a member.
The long-term part most people miss
Our memberships run on a 36-month term. Once you complete that term, your rate drops to $15 a month for life. That’s a loyalty payoff built in for members who stick with it.
That $15 rate is not a starting price. New members don’t pay it. You earn it by finishing the term, which is worth knowing when you’re weighing $5 a month between tiers today.
Gold vs. Platinum: the real difference
The gap between the two tiers is small in dollars and meaningful in what you get. Here’s how to think about it.
What both tiers give you
Every Everybody Fitness club, including both Huber Heights locations, includes free tanning, a full strength floor with racks, machines and free weights, and a cardio lineup of treadmills, bikes and ellipticals. So whether you choose Gold or Platinum, you have everything you need to lift, run and recover. See the full list of club amenities to know exactly what’s waiting for you.
If your plan is to come in, train and leave, Gold covers that completely. You’re not missing out on the core gym experience by choosing the lower tier.
What Platinum adds
Platinum includes two things Gold does not: unlimited group fitness classes and free childcare.
That’s the whole decision in one sentence. If you want classes or you need childcare so you can actually get your workout in, Platinum is built for you. If neither applies, Gold saves you money every month.
Gold members aren’t stuck, either. You can upgrade to Platinum anytime you decide you want to add classes. So you’re never locked out of that option.
Which tier fits your situation
The best way to choose is to picture how you’ll actually use the gym. Not the ideal version of you. The real, busy, after-work version.
Pick Gold if you train solo
Gold is the right call when you know what you want to do on your own. You’ve got a lifting routine, a cardio habit, or both. You don’t plan to use classes, and childcare isn’t part of your day.
For that member, paying for Platinum features you won’t touch doesn’t make sense. Gold at $24.95 keeps your cost down while giving you the full floor.
Pick Platinum if you want classes or childcare
Platinum earns its extra $5 fast if you use either perk. One or two classes a week, or a few trips where childcare lets you train uninterrupted, and the math tips in your favor.
A quick but important note for Huber Heights shoppers: the Co-ed club does not run group fitness classes. If classes are your reason for choosing Platinum, plan to take them at a location that offers them, and ask the Ladies club directly about what’s available there. If you’re new to a women-only space, our guide on the ladies-only gym in Huber Heights, Ohio for first-timers is worth a read. The childcare benefit, though, comes with Platinum at all eight of our clubs.
A note for married couples
If you and your spouse want to join together, we offer couples pricing for married couples. That’s handled in person rather than online, so stop by or call your club to set it up. It’s a simple conversation, and our team can walk you through it.
How to make the call with confidence
Start with this: will you use classes or childcare in the next month? If yes, Platinum. If no, Gold. That one answer settles it for most people.
Then remember the upgrade path. Choosing Gold today doesn’t close the door on classes later. You can move up whenever your routine changes, which takes the pressure off the decision right now.
Still unsure how either tier feels in person? Come try us first. You can start a free trial and claim a free one-day pass at any location, including Huber Heights, or find a club near you to visit. Walking the floor and seeing the space usually answers the question faster than any price sheet.
